Thankful Tree Project

Helping kids learn about being thankful

By Victoria Robillard - Publisher November 3, 2018

Last November my family started a Thankful Tree and we are excited to continue to tradition this year!

It is an easy project that can help your children think about giving thanks, all month long.

Materials:  Construction Paper, Tape, Scissors, Markers and empty wall space.

Directions:

1. Create a Tree using brown construction paper

2. Create handprints out of colorful construction paper. We chose Fall colors but you can choose whatever colors you like. I had my kids trace and cut their own hands but I think you could even find precut hands at the craft store.

3. Each Day we write what we are thankful for on a handprint and stick it to the tree. By the end of the month, our tree should be full of colorful leaves.
