Where the Jones River meet Plymouth Bay is a beautiful spot. Named for the Captain of the Mayflower, Christoper Jones, the river has been capturing hearts for 400 years. According to The Story of Jones River published by the Kingston Branch of the Alliance of Unitarian Women in 1920 the Pilgrims explored the Jones River just days after landing in Plymouth Harbor. The Pilgrims found it "a very pleasant river" and would have liked to make it their home but it was too far from their main source of profit and food, fishing.
Four Hundred years later the spot where the Jones River meets the rest of the world is still capturing hearts. Including the hearts of four friends who turned their love for the Ah Dee Nah into a clothing line called 3n3 apparel.
The concept of 3n3 apparel started circulating amongst four friends in 2018. 3n3 was the easiest way to remember the time frame in which boaters can safely enter and exit the Kingston waterways {3 hours before and 3 hours after high tide}. Those who don’t boat Kingston often wonder if the 3n3 rule is vexing, but those who do embrace it! The rule is simple, the beauty is breathtaking; 3n3 apparel aims for their apparel to capture the beauty in the simplicity.
