In the dreary days of March, St. Patrick's Day is a diamond in the rough. Growing up, I looked forward to St. Patrick's Day all year long, and I hope my kids will too! One fun way to ensure the holiday is filled with fun, is by creating some festive art. This activity is fun, easy, and uses materials you probably already have.
Supplies Needed:
- green paint (white paint optional)
- paper plate
- 1 block (I find the big mega blocks work best for little hands to be able to hold)
- a shamrock cut out on white paper
Steps:
1. Pour some green paint onto a paper plate. If you want, mix some green with white to make 2 different shades.
2. Model pressing the block in the paint, and then stamping the shamrock for your child. Allow your child to take over.
3. Continue stamping until the shamrock is covered to your child's liking.
4. Let dry and display for the world to see! Better yet, make more than one and gift them friends, family, and neighbors
