Did you know that April is National Kite Month? Perfect timing for us, since Thomas is currently kite-obsessed. American Kitefliers Association says “It’s all about flying kites and sharing them with others” - now that’s something we can all get behind this spring!

Here are some great local Plymouth places to go fly a kite this month!

1. Briggs Field

A large open field located in State Road in Manomet. Plenty of space to fly a kite!

2. Onset Beach

Once home to the Onset Beach Kite Festival, this is a great place to go fly a kite!

3. White Horse Beach

A gorgeous beach in its own right, flying a kite here makes it even better!

Taylor Ave, Plymouth, MA 02360

4. Forges Field

A nice wide open field with a good breeze. Just check sport schedules before heading out! Check out the playground and walking trails while you are there.

Located behind the library and playground, this area is also a popular sledding spot!
