This past week, I had a chance to visit Alison Thompson Photography’s Outdoor Studio in South Plymouth. I was so impressed with the experience.

Alison took the time to ask me what my goals for the session were. I shared that I wanted some shots that I could use for my email, the “Meet the Publisher” tab on my site, and for some welcome posts on Instagram. Alison even helped me decide on wardrobe choices that would best support my goals. I could tell that she took the extra care to personalize the shoot and customize it to my needs.
2. Options
Alison’s Outdoor Studio offers such an impressive array of options for your photos. For my headshots, Alison offered a little cafe table, couches, stools, a rustic door, fences, and flowers - to name a few. She can customize her outdoor studio for any vision you have!

3. Kindness
Alison is a genuinely kind person. She was so complimentary, gave great directions, and immediately made me feel comfortable. The calm and comfort she brought to the session had to have something to do with the great shots she grabbed.
4. Years of Experience
Alison has been taking photos since 2005. She has seen it all! Whether you’d like to book a wedding, newborn baby, maternity, or high school senior session, Alison will deliver!
5. Gorgeous Photos
I love the shots that Alison got. I was there for less than an hour, it never felt tedious, and Alison truly delivered. I got shots in different angles, different backgrounds, and for completely different purposes. It was a mini session, but it didn’t feel “mini” to me!
