This review was completed by one of Plymouth Macaroni Kid's Playground Ambassadors, Nichole Flaherty. Check out Nichole's homestead - Hidden Acres Homestead - on Instagram and Facebook! Hidden Acres Homestead is a family owned 3+ acre homestead located in Plymouth, MA. They raise free range hens, Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Babydoll Sheep - and make the most beautiful soaps around!

This playground is located diagonal to and behind Betty Anne's Dairy Freeze. It is a small park, with no swings. However, there is a fun climbing structure with a rock wall, FOUR slides, and a tunnel. Great for toddlers and younger kids!

This park offers a full sized basketball court and a baseball field as well. According to the Bourne Recreation website, there is also a skate park.

The base of the playground is rubberized and is fully fenced in (although the latch was broken).

Best of all? This park is within walking distance of an ice cream parlor! Perfect for an after park snack.

PRO TIP: Also visit Queen Swell Pond - only a 4 minute drive away! It has a swing set, a nice place to play in the sand or swim. There is no lifeguard on duty. This would be a nice place to pack a picnic lunch and bring some sand toys!

Playground Rating

Safety - Great: This playground is fenced in and there was no apparent broken equipment. Structures were a good height.

Cleanliness - Great: There was no trash on the playground while we were there.

Facilities - Good: The playground is geared toward younger children and toddlers. Less available for older children, although they would still have fun!

Overall Rating - GOOD
