June is here - and summer is right around the corner! That means... tons of outdoor fun events this month! Mark your calendar with these FREE June events. Check back often for new events!

Visit the Plymouth Country Sheriff's Farm - EVERY DAY

Plymouth County has its very own petting zoo right in your backyard. Come on down and take a look! Looking for flowers or shrubs for your yard? Look no further! We have everything you need right here at a fraction of the price.

Story Walk at Forges Field Park "The Selfish Crocodile" - NOW THROUGH JULY 30th

Walk together and enjoy the benefits of a wonderful children's book and some physical activity!  

Plymouth Farmer's Market at the Plymouth G Pub - Thursdays this summer!

The Plymouth Farmers Market provides access to fresh, local, seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, and prepared foods that are sourced locally for Plymouth residents, visitors, and the greater South Shore community. The market draws attention to the agricultural diversity and food-ways of our region, sustains a vibrant local food economy, promotes local food literacy, educates the public on the seasonal availability of fruits and vegetables, and helps the community to prepare healthy, locally-grown meals. The Plymouth Farmers Market also provides a social experience that helps build community by celebrating seasonal and local foods in historic Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Food Truck Thursdays in Kingston 

Food Truck Thursday  hosted  by  the South Shore food truck association will be held at Hilltop Athletic Association in Kingston from 4-8pm starting April 20th

Buddy Night Pizza and Playtime for Dads,Grandpas, and Other Significant Caregivers REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Calling all Dads, Grandpas, and other significant caregivers! Come celebrate the last Buddy Night of the school year with pizza, open playtime on the PECC Playground, and conversation with other Plymouth families of young children.

Kingston Farmer's Market 

Head to Gray's Beach for the monthly Kingston Farmer's Market! The Farmer's Market will take place the first Sunday of every month, May through October. All ages are welcome!

Tidmarsh Frog Hunt with the Plymouth Family Network REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Get up close with nature at Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary. We will take a short hike, explore different habitats, and meet some of the tadpoles, frogs, and other critters that call Tidmarsh home.

Rye Tavern Farmer's Market on Mondays 

Opening Day for the Rye Tavern Farmer's Market is on June 5th! Start the week off right - shop the farmer's market full of all kinds of local goodness, then stay for lunch at the outdoor patio. While at the market,  you can enjoy live music, cooking demonstrations, face painting, kids activities, and so much more! 

Sing to Your Baby with Julie Stepanek at Plymouth Public Library

Join Julie for songs, finger plays and integrated movement to classics you know and a few you don’t for babies and their families. Shakers and scarves will be incorprated in program, a long with some ukulele playing by Julie.  This program is supported in part by a grant from the Plymouth Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.  Intended for children ages 0-3 and their caregivers.  Please register everyone who will be in attendance.

Sheriff's Farm Storytime on June 7th - REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Kids of all ages with enjoy exploring the petting zoo and plants.  Miss Cindee will wrap up with a story time.

Flying High Dogs at the Plymouth Public Library 

As part of the Summer Reading Kickoff at the Plymouth Public Library, they will be joined with Mike Piazza and his Flying High Dogs on the front lawn!  Show is very familly friendly and will include a variety of frisbee & other entertaining tricks, as well as some audience participation!  No registration required.

When visiting events and local businesses, be sure to tell them Macaroni KID sent you... and don't forget to tell all your friends!
