Hi! I am Missy, the crazy lady behind the lens at Mark Rand Photography. I am a mom of 2 crazy boys, the wife of an amazing software engineer and insanely obsessed with my chickens. I created Mark Rand Photography (named after my boys) 6 years ago and have loved every minute of it. We specialize in family photography of all ages..but our all time faves are the birthday sessions. We love designing sets for our fun and messy cake smashes. In our studio we feel any age can smash a cake on their birthday. We have had cake smash from ages 1 to 90 years old!! We also offer family sessions, engagement and wedding packages.. our sunset beach sessions are extremely popular and sell out super fast. Mini Photo Sessions are also another passion of ours. We love offering holiday mini sessions and sometimes if we come up with a great idea….we turn it into a mini session. Our spacious, full of light studio space allows us to really get creative with sets in the studio. We are always adding new set designs or props to our location. You will notice I say “We” a lot, that is because I am not alone on my crazy photography journey. My cophotographer, Danielle, has been with me for the past 3 years. She is a mom, wife, cheer coach, senior photographer, singer of baby shark, and the person who organizes the studio after I tear it apart looking for a certain object.
