Description
Craft vendors, children’s activities, special guests, and entertainment are planned for this fun fall Saturday, outdoors on the lawns of Fairhaven High School and the Visitors Center. Meet and act like a pirate with Pirates of the Cape, make crafts to take home, enter the costume parade and contest, and enjoy other family fun.
"Bite the Dog" will be here selling hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, French fries, tater tots, and onion rings. Baked good, sweets, ice cream and Del's Frozen Lemonade will also be for sale.
The Buttonwood Brass Trio will be performing on the grounds from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A costume parade and contest will be will be held at 2:00 p.m. Children will sign up in advance at the booth of the Millicent Library. Prizes will be awarded for “Silliest/Most Funny,” “Scariest,” “Most Fabulous,” and “Most Heroic,” in three age groups—baby& toddler to age 3, ages 4-11, and ages 12 and up. Judging will be done by the Fairhaven Mothers Club.
