From the organizers:
Our Waterfront Beer Garden is back!!!!
Experience the perfect blend of craft brews, scenic splendor, and historic significance by visiting the Mayflower Waterfront Beer Garden at the Hedge House this Summer! Mayflower is brewing some good with the Plymouth Antiquarian Society, Plymouth’s largest organization dedicated to preserving historic houses and landmarks. A portion of every beverage sale at the beer garden goes back to the 1809 Hedge House!
The Beer Garden kicks off next weekend with hours on Friday, June 14th & Saturday, June 15th from 3-8pm, and will run every Friday and Saturday through September. **Please note the Beer Garden will not be open on August 23rd, September 20th or September 21st**
Mayflower will be pouring draft beer, hard seltzer, High Limb Cider, and two wines; something for everyone! Stop by before and/or after hitting your favorite downtown restaurants or bring your own food to the beer garden. Many local restaurants within walking distance offer exceptional take out options to satisfy your hunger while you quench your Summer thirst for beer and beautiful scenery.
Built by merchant William Hammatt in 1809, the Hedge House is one of the finest local examples of Federal period architecture, featuring octagonal rooms in the main block and a rare intact carriage house. The founders of the Antiquarian Society saved the house from demolition in 1919 and moved it to its current location overlooking Plymouth Harbor in 1924.
