To celebrate NASA's 60 years of achievement and its celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, the 2019 Summer Library Program (SLP) is space themed! The Plumb program blasts off on June 21 and ends August 10. Online registration for is required. All youngsters can REGISTER via the link below or on www.plumblibrary.com from 5:30 pm on May 23 until 11:30 pm on July 31. Families with multiple youngsters can register using the same form. This is a free program thanks to many state and local sponsors.
By registering, you will be joining Team Plumb to complete library and home-based missions, record them on a mission log, and then report your progress to the library as your schedule permits. Each mission completed earns one color tile for the Space StickTogether Mosaic. This year, we are Sticking-Together to complete the Space Mosaic for the Old Colony Robotics Team. A donation will be made to the team to purchase materials needed to build the robots used at the competitions if we complete the mosaic. Mission completion also earns participants prizes and invitations to special celebrations. Plus, all youth participants are entered into the Boston Bruins "When You Read, You Score" contest. Adult program registrants receive a ticket to enter into a prize drawing. Online registration AND participation are required to earn all program rewards and awards
