Explore the past like never before with a new, immersive, hands-on summer camp from Plimoth Patuxet Museums! Become a history detective and solve puzzles, conduct living history experiments, and discover what life was like in Plymouth and Patuxet in the 1600s. You`ll learn new skills along the way as you explore their homes, boats, and ships; work in the gardens, play games, and try your hand at some 17th-century trades and chores.
All camp activities have been planned with our participants' safety in mind and in accordance with the latest CDC and Massachusetts COVID19 guidelines. Pre-registration is required for Plimoth Patuxet Adventure Camp. After you register, a staff member will contact you within 2-3 business days to finalize your reservation.
Early Bird Pricing (Through April 1, 2022) $285 per Camper for Members, $320 per Camper for Non-Members. Those registering siblings within the same transaction receive a sibling discount of 10% applicable at checkout.
Adventure Camp Pricing (After April 1, 2022) $335 per Camper for Members, $375 for Non-Members. Those registering siblings within the same transaction receive a sibling discount of 10% applicable at checkout. Add-On Extended Day (8:30am drop off, 5:30pm pick up): $100 per child per week.

EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy is a private practice owned by occupational therapist Kimberly DeLaura, M.S., OTR/L who has 10 years of experience in the field. Putting a healthy and fun twist on therapy, EXPLORE Pediatric Therapy offers occupational therapy services in the great outdoors! Instead of your child receiving traditional occupational therapy in a clinic, we choose to provide treatment outside (year-round)! Why? Because kids spend too much time indoors, staring at screens, being under bright lights, not running around playing like they should be, and NEED to be for healthy child development. Therapy should be no different.
This summer we are offering nature-based occupational therapy play groups. These are child-supported therapeutic play groups in a nature-based setting facilitated by a skilled pediatric occupational therapist.
* All groups meet once a week for 90 minutes in length and include a short snack break
*Groups are held outdoors, rain or shine!
* All groups occur on M, W, or F (Parents choose to sign up for {pick one} Monday, Wednesday, or Friday group)

Group Details
1. Little Explorers: For our 3–4-year-old friends who would benefit from foundational skill building involving PLAY. Through play we will support development of gross motor skills, fine motor skills, visual motor integration, self-regulation and identifying emotions. Games and activities include, but are not limited to, mud kitchen, construction site, nature walks, fort building, water exploration, nature crafts & more! Meeting time: 8:00-9:30am
2. Super Explorers: For ages 5-7 years old, this group promotes functional independence, social emotional learning, and motor skill development. Our goal is to support play skills & problem-solving skills that will carry over into the classroom or community. You can expect therapeutic nature activities, exploratory hikes, free child-directed exploration, tool use and creative play! Meeting time: 10:00-11:30am
3. Rugged Explorers: For ages 8-10 years old, in addition to motor skill development/balance, this group focuses on problem solving, safe risk taking, team building and social emotional skills. You can expect to see multi-step activities, tool use, group games, perspective taking, conflict resolution & more! Meeting time: 1:30-3:00pm
