This week we saw two snow days and some extreme cold. All the hope I had for getting back on a schedule has moved out a whole week. But that doesn't mean last week was a total waste. I actually like staying home all day in my pajamas. I got a lot accomplished and enjoyed some quiet family time. Sometimes I feel that my family tries to pack too much into each day, how can you not with all the great things happening around us? But it was nice to be forced to stay hunkered down in our house for a few days with nowhere to go.
This week I worked to make the newsletter both fun and informative:
- I have a review of a fantastic, brand new book (the first in a series): Don’t Forget Dexterhttps://plymouthma.macaronikid.com/articles/5a55de3f5119bc4494ded6f8/book-review-dont-forget-dexter-by-lindsay-ward.
- Can you believe the class of 2031 will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall? As school districts gear up to send out registration information, this is what you need to know.
- COMING SOON: Macaroni Kid Plymouth MA Gold Daisy Awards. You can share who your favorite businesses are with us and let them know how much you care all while having the chance to win some great prizes.
- We survived a Bomb Cyclone, but is your family ready to survive anything? Check out tips for Family Emergency Preparation.
- We are lucky to have some great babysitters close by but if you are not so lucky or if #16 in your 2018 Family Bucket List was to stay on budget, here are some tips for a date night that the whole family can enjoy and don’t include the cost of a sitter.
- Finally, I have a way for you to share Macaroni Kid Plymouth with your family and friends via a free printable note card and a shareable jpeg.
As I write this the sun is out and my car reads a balmy 39 degrees. Here's to a week of warmer weather and winter fun.
