On A sunny and cool morning last week Jack and I visited the beautiful Oakdale Playground. In a residential neighborhood, this playground has new equipment, a covered picnic area, basketball courts and beautiful views of the Wareham River, (The playground is fenced in and access to the river is difficult at best so it does not pose a safety risk)
The playground has many great attractions for climbing, swinging, and just having a great day. There are swings for all ages and the wood chips are a soft place to land when running and jumping. There are no bathroom facilities.
Playground Rating
Safety - Great: Fenced in and there was no apparent broken equipment
Cleanliness - Great: There were no signs of trash on our visit in the playground or the parking lot
Facilities - Great: The playground offers a lot for many different ages
Overall Rating - GREAT
