The way of Macaroni Kid - Core Value #2 Be responsive, kind, and generous of time and spirit

Aesop who lived in the 600BCE said "No act of kindness is ever wasted" and it still true today as it was when he first said it. Macaroni Kid Core value #3 is to Be responsive, kind and generous of time and spirit.

Be responsive. In a time when everyone is so busy and there is so much information completing for our attention it can be difficult to be responsive to everyone. I admit that I can be terrible at times at getting back to my friends when they text me or email me (oh I am bad at email) but my goal as a Macaroni Kid Publisher is to be responsive to the needs in my community. I try not to take on the responsibility of meeting all those needs but I enjoy facilitating interactions and sharing the needs of others when appropriate. My goal in growing Macaroni Kid Plymouth is to be a resource to find what you as a parent need. Maybe you need a story time to get out of the house, or a local toy store to buy a birthday gift. Or maybe you need someone to say I have been there too I know what it is like to feel like you are all alone in this world and let you know it won't feel like that forever. As a Macaroni Kid Publisher I value being responsive to the needs and questions of my community. I am not perfect and there will be times things, events and requests fall through the cracks but each day I am working on getting better than that.

Be Kind. I strive to be kind in all situations can help to enrich our community in so many ways and making it better place for everyone. (it can be difficult at times) I try every day to be an example of kindness.  It doesn't matter if my kids are the best at sports or if they are the smartest kids in class what matters is that show kindness in all situations.

Be generous of time and sprit. Macaroni Kid is built by a community of Publishers who are more than generous of time and spirit in communities all over the country and in Canada they work with local nonprofit and charities to enrich their communities. I am looking at ways I can do this in my community as well.

Coming soon Macaroni Kid Plymouth Act of Kindness Day - September 15, 2018 - I am working on the details now and I can not wait to share what I have in store with you!
